Sometime around the middle of the 20th week, I began to feel tiny fluttering sensations. These days, the movements are getting more frequent and stronger, and I can almost imagine the little pugilist kicking, punching and doing cartwheels inside me. That, coupled with an obviously growing bump and things are beginning to look and feel a lot more real now.
Some days I forget that I am this “pregnant woman” and wanted to run after a bus or the train. I am not so heavy yet, but I guess we will get there in a while. In the meantime, I shall cherish the remaining days of my second trimester.
Oh, in addition to swimming and light walking, I am adding prenatal yoga to my exercise regime from now. Next Tuesday will be my first class and you bet I am looking forward to it!
