Delicate morsels of siew mai, succulent char siew buns, creamy and crusty egg tarts, accompanied by sips of fragrant Chinese tea, the belated dim sum lunch at Summer Palace hit just the right spot. Not only for Dad but everyone too.
Now that most of us are married and staying apart, coming together to yum cha on a Sunday afternoon is precious family time indeed. As always, so many things to catch up on, so little time.
